They had a son named James who ended up marrying Elizabeth Eaton. They had a son named Elisha who married Grace Shaw. They had a son named John Davis who married Sarah Barney. They also had a son named John Davis that was in The Revolutionary War who married Joanna Hicks. They had a son named Asahel Davis who married Deborah Mason. Caleb Davis was their son who married Harriet Simonds. They had William Edgar Davis my great grandfather who married my great grandmother Lulu Kate Palmer. Up until this time all the Davis’ had lived in Massachusetts. They had my grandpa Elmer Davis born in CA who married my grandma Margaret Ida Witte born in Ohio. My mom was Joan Davis born in Ca then me Mike Davis born in CA. I’ve been working on my family tree for over 40 years now. He married first 1 Dec 1648 Elizabeth Eaton, 2nd Mary _____. He was made a freeman 1666; oath allegiance and fidelity 1677. He d. 18 July 1694, Haverhill; will dated same day, wife Mary mentioned.
